Thank you so much for this nice Guidance. Posted 18 July - PM. I recently got this exact same problem. I got the same message as tinman. I can't use my AOL software because it will cause the blue screen. AOL was not able to help. My Norton antivirus was completely knocked off and it was giving a message about no connectivity and as if it was trying to find a modem - never got this message from Norton whether I was on or off line in the past!

AOLSupportHelp you have the most unhelpful customer support I've ever come across, you deem a password that has been used for years untrustworthy and block the account and now won't let me change it to something else as you've not got enough information to prove it's me! Just upgraded to Windows 7 on my 64 bit HP quad processor with 8 gig ram and gigb free disk space.
