Learning from Marymount faculty and theater professionals, students who take part in this program at Marymount Manhattan College will explore the dance, voice, and acting process in New York City.
These will develop fundamental skills and gain insight into the audition process, as well as attend Broadway shows and participate in activities. Students must be nominated to attend this week-long program focusing on building entrepreneurial and leadership skills. They will learn from Mercy College faculty and leaders from top companies in areas including career mindset, personal branding, careers in finance, accounting, and marketing, and more. While the majority of the program takes place on the Dobbs Ferry campus, participants will also visit the Manhattan Campus and Fortune companies.
Participating in the Business track of the Pace University Summer Scholars program, students will learn about the general functions and areas of business and focus on entertainment and arts management.
Along with their courses, students will take part in outings to museums, theaters, parks, restaurants, and more. Our free chancing engine takes into account your history, background, test scores, and extracurricular activities to show you your real chances of admission—and how to improve them. Students will also attend events throughout New York City and showcase their work in gallery spaces on campus.
Open to both residential and commuter students, this program will introduce high schoolers to the field of aerospace engineering through lectures, demonstrations, and experiments in a lab setting. Using their new skills and knowledge, students will design, build, and test two model airplanes under the guidance of RPI faculty and graduate and undergraduate students. Under the mentorship of leading scientists, high schoolers will conduct hands-on research in one of the top biomedical research facilities in the world.
Over the course of seven weeks, students will participate in real lab experiments while learning about research techniques, scientific literature, important skills, and more. Upon successful completion of the program, your child will earn three college credits. At this immersive college experience, students have the option of taking two liberal arts courses, two studio art courses, or one of each. Commuting and residential options are both available. Talented high schoolers will be immersed in an intensive experience, conducting independent research with guidance from Garcia Center faculty, staff, and students, while also receiving formal instruction.
Participants will have the option of continuing their work through the Mentor Program during the academic year, working on research with a faculty mentor. For one to six weeks, students will participate in noncredit and credit-bearing programs across subjects such as forensic science, coding, writing, art, and more.
